we finally made it out of blackout 2003.

i wasn’t particularly annoyed about having to walk home from work or even dining on pb&j sandwiches for a couple of nights. what was most apparent was that not having electricity left me with absolutely nothing to do. i’m not sure how old abe did it, but candlelight is most certainly not bright enough for reading.
